I'm not a perfect cooked or a baker but part of doing it is to learn some tips and
" Good to know things " cooking has been part of my life since I was 7 years old. I'm proud to say that 😊 hehe..
I know so many aspiring cooked out there and just started their cooking career and looking for some tips. Let me share my own experience when it comes to kitchen..😄
Tips:
before starting cooking make sure to gathered all ingredients before cooking and well prepared according to its procedure by then you have peaceful cooking moment and avoid stress , always read procedure first before starting everything and familiarize it... Always clean your area, tables and utensils should be clean. Before handling all ingredients, make sure to wash your hands is always a habit.😃
If you are planning to have a party and you were the one Who will cook then start preparing frozen product one or two days before the party, cupcakes can be prepared too, after baking let it cool and put it in an airtight container, frosting should prepare within the day of your party.
First Aid:
sometimes we call ourselves clumsy😝 in case of burning accident in the kitchen just put egg whites on it. It's very effective and it's proven.
Gelatin:
gelatin mixtures must be dissolved completely in hot liquid such as water, milk or juice in a bowl or saucepan. Make sure no visible bits gelatin.
Pasta:
When cooking pasta should be al dente ( one way of trying out how to know if pasta is done, just get a small piece of pasta and throw it to the wall if it's stick means it's cooked if not means still need minutes 😄😄 don't forget to cleaned up your mess LOL
Frying OR sauté
Make sure oil is hot before putting the first ingredients ( not too hot)😝
To test you oil is already hot drop water on it if it's starting the noise it means you can start cooking then.
Good to know😄😉
Do meals more appealing by using contrasting colors such as vegetables - the way you slice it there are so many ways to do it just be imaginative in your own way be creative the way you wanted it's like an art, put a little balance on every ingredients you have. Most important things I've learned to have your own version of your food not just a copy cat. One more thing if kids eating your food means it's good and absolutely thumbs up!!!
There's nothing wrong of copy cat but you can revise it in your own taste and wants.
Happy cooking everyone😊😊😊
